In civilization humanity is not always known to be very caring towards each other. Two exceptions of the rule are Steve Biko and Jack Strong. Both of these leaders put their own lives on the line for the greater good of humanity; sacrificing their own lives in order to do the right thing. As a kid growing up I believed that everyone was kind, respectful and diplomatic but by working for fifteen years in business I have been forced to see otherwise. When a true leader comes my way, in real-life or by way of a book or a movie, such as Steve Biko (The Testimony of Steve Biko, Black Consciousness in South Africa book) or the movie Jack Strong – I am always renewed and hopeful that humanity will be able to unite and continue following United Nations guidelines.
